Hello! We’re Catharine Slade and Owen White – the founders of Help me help my child.
We created this site to help parents help their child. This may not sound particularly novel or new, but in actual fact there are surprisingly few sites that focus directly on supporting parents. There are lots of sites with resources for kids, but most pay very little attention to the practical needs of parents. We decided to change that and so we set about creating Help me help my child.
As parents ourselves, we know how hard it can be to be a genuinely helpful parent. There is so much you need to know about children, their development and the education system. There is also a lot you need to do – to put theory into practice. Help me help my child is designed to provide an inside track to parents who want to be the best parents they can be to their children.
Help me help my child is designed to make life easier for parents by providing bespoke, smart-parenting advice, diagnostic and planning tools, and in due course, apps that will help you put advice into practice, and establish the best parenting habits.
We give you the inside track on your 4 to 7-year-old child’s social, educational and personal development, on choosing the right school, navigating the curriculum, helping with homework, working in partnership with teachers and dealing with issues like bullying, digital safety and social media.
We personalise and customise parenting advice making our diagnostic tools, blog posts, video clips, handbooks, workbooks, reports and consultancy sessions totally focused on the age and gender of your child. We know you’re busy and only want what’s relevant to you.
We help you put all you discover into practice with bespoke planning tools and parenting apps so you can easily do what you need to do, keep doing it, and make it a habit.
We help you to become a smart parent who confidently knows they are the best parent they can be.
